Imphal, August 05 2026: Dr MK Shah of Imphal East District Rifle Association (IEDRA) bagged the Clay Pigeon Trap Shooting title as the Shotgun event of the 34th All Manipur Shooting Competition concluded at MRA Shooting Range, Taothong.

Dr MK Shah scored 23 off 25 to seal the title in the ISSF Men (Local match) as his compatriot Usham Tarun Kumar finished second with a score of 14 out off 25.Javed Siddique of Imphal West District Rifle Association (IWDRA) was third with 7 scores.

MK Shah was also adjudged overall champion in NR and ISSF Local Match segment as Lairenjam Aaryaman (20/25) was placed second and Usham Tarun Kumar was placed third (14/25) .

IWDRA shooters however dominated in the Clay Pigeon Trap Shooting event for Masters segment with Abdul Kalam shooting 36 points to claim the gold, Nongthombam Ranveer shooting 34 points to claim the silver and Hanglem Bubu scoring 32 points to settle for the bronze medal.

In the men's individual segment, IWDRA's Aaryaman Lairenjam shot 40 points to win the gold as Loitongbam Sachil scored 38 points to claim the silver and IEDRA's Lanchenba Nongthombam bagged the bronze with 37 points.

Abdul Kalam (36 points) and Chinglemba Laishram (30 points) were lone competitors in the senior masters and junior men's individual events.
