Discus thrower Oinam Alison wins bronze medal at athletic nationals

Thoubal, July 05 2024: Thoubal District Amateur Athletics Association congratulated Oinam Alison on winning a bronze medal in discus throw at the 63rd National Inter Senior Athletics Championship 2024, which took place in Haryana from June 27 to 30 .

The association's president Konsam Michael informed the media that Oinam Alison threw a distance of 52.09 metres to claim the bronze medal at the senior athletics competition.

Alison had also won silver medal at the 3rd National U-23 Athletics Championship, a gold medal at the All India Inter Zonal Athletics Championship last year, a silver medal at the All India Inter University Athletics Championship 2024 held in January, and a gold medal at the 4th Khelo India University Games 2023, he added.
