17th Manipur State League : SGH beat SFC 2-0 for fourth win on trot, NEROCA FC end 3-game winless run

Imphal, March 04 2025: Sang-gai Heroes (SGH), Angtha sealed their fourth straight victory and ended SFC, Tera's four-game unbeaten run in the 17th Manipur State League Group B competition by registering a 2-0 win today at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

Sagolshem Silngamba scored both the goals (30', 79') to lift SGH to top of the Group B table on 12 points above NACO and SFC who are levelled on 10 points from 5 matches.

Later in the day, NEROCA FC, Sangakpham ended their three-game losing streak by beat KLASA, Keinou by 1-0 goal.

The lone goal that earned NEROCA FC all three points today was scored by Ichulung in the 41st minute of the match.

SAI-RC will play FC Lamjao in the next match tomorrow at Artificial Turf Ground from 12.30 pm before NACO play AFC later in the day from 2.30 pm.

The matches of the tournament scheduled from March 6 onwards have however been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances, said the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) in a memorandum issued today.

Revised fixtures will be issued on March 11, it added.
