LMLCC, SWC serve up goal fest in Kakching Super Division Football League 2024

Imphal, July 02 2024: There were goal galore as LMLCC (Langmeidong) and SWC (Waikhong) recorded emphatic wins in the Kakching Super Division Football League 2024 at DSA Kakching playground on Tuesday.

LMLCC started the day with a 10-1 demolition of UBSA (Mantak), with E Birendrakumar and E Avinash scoring a treble apiece.

Ch Rohit opened the floodgates with a 15th minute goal.

Then, Birendrakumar ex tended their lead in the 39th minute before Rohit netted his second in the third minute of first-half added time as LMLCC went into the second period taking a commanding 3-0 lead.

Avinash came up with a quick double (46, 49) to stretch their advantage further, while Birendrakumar found his second and team's sixth goal in the 50th minute.

Jetlee Kom reduced the deficit for UBSA in the 51st minute.

After conceding, LMLCC got their momentum back as Birendrakumar completed his treble in the 59th minute, and Y Aninash scored twice in the 73rd and 75th minutes before E Avinash collected his third goal in the 78th minute to wrap up the win in style.

H Tombi scored a hat-trick to steer SWC to an easy 4-0 victory against LYA (Wangoo).

Tombi started the rout with a 25th-minute opener as N Shangkar upped the ante in the 59th minute before Tombi regained momentum, scoring his second goal in the 69th minute and completing his hat-trick in the 73rd minute for the eventual 4-0 result.
