AAM announces provisional squad for East Zone Junior Athletics Championships

Imphal, August 29 2026: The Athletics Association of Manipur (AAM) has announced the names of athletes provisionally selected for the preparation of State team in line with the upcoming East Zone Junior Athletics Championship that will be hosted in Bihar.

The athletes were selected by the virtue of their performances in the recently concluded 41st State Junior Athletics Championship.

The athletes who made it to the provisional list are :

U-20 Boys; Thokchom Panan , Jenish, E.Gungcha, Kh Javed Hussain, Yumnam Berlin, Saikhom Punshiba Rahul Karam, Resonath Th, Paikhomba W, Kh Wahid, T Johnson, Y Bebinao, Dakash Guikwad, Md Rahish Khan, Mutum Nelson, Thoihensana W, Y Shitaljit;

U-18 Boys: N Rahul, Seram Utam, Shivansh Shivshanker Patel, W Sidarth, K Devash, Th Rohit, M Meethoingamba, Th Maheshkumar, M Mickeljackson, L Rakesh;

U-16 Boys: O Raj, Ashad Ali, L Estalin, W Dayananda, Y Archy, Ch Yaiphaba, Kh Aryum, L Tomcrus

U-14 Boys: M Bidyachandra, S Lanchenba, M Angamba, O Roshan, Binesh Chabungbam, Malemnganba H, L Thoungamba, S Yaiphaba, Kh Naresh, Srivastva S, Th Surjakanta;

U- 20 Girls: Th Negita, Y Bedarani, Y Bebisana;

U-18 Girls: Rojita L, N Echanthoi, A Premita, D Mangdalene, N Diviya

U-16 Girls: H Sanjana, L Anthona, Lucky L, Angela H, Th Velena

U-14 Girls: Joya, S Sika, T Lingjel, Curei P, Haripriyari Akham, Krishna Devi, Neevia Laishram, Khumanthem Lanchenbi, Saina Laishram, Zeilina.

The players were further informed to submit their AFIUID number and Aadhaar card on or before September 3 .
