FC Raengdai off to flying start in I-League 3

Imphal, April 27 2026: FC Raengdai kicked off their I-League 3 Group A campaign with a 3-0 thrashing of ARA FC, Ahmedabad this morning at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.

FC Raengdai and ARA FC started cautiously and entered the break goalless.

FC Raengdai however entered the field with more purpose in the second half and found the lead in the 51st minute in the form of an own goal from ARA FC's Rudrarajsinh Jadeja.

There was no looking back for the Noney team since then and on the back of sustained pressure they doubled the advantage in the 70th minute through Laishram Bikramjit before Shoraisham Sagar Singh piled further pressure on the visitors by netting the team's third goal in the 51st minute.

FC Raengdai will play Sikkim Brotherhood Football Club in the next match on May 1 from 3 pm at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.

Another football giant of the State, TRAU FC will open their Group B campaign tomorrow morning against Mumbay Football Club.
