AMFA to hold special GB meeting virtually on September 9

Imphal, August 01 2026: The All Manipur Football Association is conducting a special general body meeting virtually on September 9 .

The decision to hold the meeting was taken during an executive council meeting of the association held today and as per the directive of the All India Football Federation for amendment of constitution in the lines of AIFF and under NSGA and the NSG Rules, said AMFA in a memorandum.

District associations concerned are to nominate one member for participating in the virtual meeting and forward their respective contact number and email ID latest by August 30, it said.

AMFA also announced team officials who will be leading the State junior girls' team in the Dr Talimeren Ao Junior Girls' National Football Championship 2026-27 to be held in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh from September 10 to 25 .

The officials include Shamjetshabam Hemarani as team manager, Thongram Khunjanganbi as head coach, Surjit Naorem as assistant coach and Langoljam Prinkilata Chanu as the physiotherapist.
