Kakching Super Division Football : Lemba's double in vain as YWU hold SFC to 2-2 draw

Imphal, September 24 2025: O Lemba's double went in vain as Youth Welfare Union (YWU), Kakching scored late to hold Sugnu Football Club (SFC), Sugnu to a 2-2 draw in the second match of the 22nd Ksh Leihao Devi Memorial Super Division Football League 2025 .

O Lemba handed SFC the lead early in the 13th minute but YWU fought back to draw level with Kh Gyan scoring the equaliser in the 24th minute.

O Lemba scored again in the 46th minute to retain the lead for SFC but their hopes of securing all three points was quashed when Ksh Kanta scored the equaliser 4 minutes into the stoppage time (90+4').As many as 7 teams are participating in the top tier inter club district tournament organised by the District Sports Association Kakching at its playground.

KMSWC, Keirak will play LMLCC, Langmeidong in the next match on September 27 from 1 pm.

SWC, Keirak face SFC, Sugnu later in the day from 3.15 pm .
