Imphal, May 23 2025: St Peter's Hr Sec School, St Joseph High School, Oak Hill, and St Paul's High School advanced to the semifinals of the Chandel District Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament 2025 after winning their respective matches on Friday.

In the U-17 boys' fixture, St Peter's Hr Sec School secured their place in the semifinals with a 2-0 victory over Koinonia Training School.

Khallenthang broke the deadlock in the 12th minute, and Khular George doubled their lead in the 43rd minute, sealing the win.

They will now face St Paul's High School in Saturday's semifinal (May 24, 2025) .

In the U-15 boys' category, St Joseph's High School, Oak Hill, and St Paul's High School secured decisive victories to reach the last four.

St Joseph's High School cruised into the semifinals with a 3-0 win over Model Residential School.

Bungwarngam (3'), Chumsha (29'), and Christianson (63') all found the net in a commanding performance.

St Paul's High School, meanwhile, delivered a resounding 5-0 thrashing to Oriental Academy to advance.

Aratkung set the tone with a quickfire brace in the 2nd and 9th minutes, before Lenpu made it 3-0 in the 27th minute.

Mechantha (54') and Lianpa Aimol (61') rounded off the scoring in style.

Oak Hill also booked their semifinal spot with a 2-1 win over ACI.

Leivon Marcus Aimol was the hero, netting twice (25', 52'), while Moringsang pulled one back for ACI in the 61st minute, but it was too late to change the outcome.

Saturday's semifinals will see St Paul's High School take on Oak Hill, while St Joseph's High School face St Peter's Hr Sec School in what promises to be an exciting clash.
