32nd All Manipur Shooting Competition : MPSC's G Prameshor shoots open sight 50 m rifle gold

Imphal, August 21 2024: Gurumayum Prameshor Sharma of Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC) shot 470 points to seal the men's (A-71) Open Sight 50 m rifle prone event gold medal in the 32nd All Manipur Shooting Competition 2024 being underway at Taothong Shooting Ranges.

The competition is organised by the Manipur Rifle Association.

K Asish Sharma of Imphal West District Rifle Association settled for the silver medal in the same competition scoring 442 points while MPSC's Kangabam Hemchandra picked the bronze medal with 435 points.

Narumbam Isha Devi of Imphal East District Rifle Association in the meantime won the women's (A-73) Open Sight 50 m rifle prone event gold scoring 309 points.

National Sports University's Oinam Labish Singh claimed the junior men's (S-04) 50 m rifle prone championship scoring 559 points as Davidson Khumbongmayum grabbed the silver scoring 558 points.

Nongmaithem Jubaraj of the Blossom School Indoor Shooting Centre earned the bronze scoring 532 points in the same event.

Junior women's (S-06) 50 m rifle prone event gold medal in the meantime went to Loktongbam Tulika of the Blossom School Indoor Shooting Centre who shot 500 points.

Hijam Inunganbi of Imphal West District Rifle Association topped the women's (S-03) 50 m rifle prone championship with 531 points as Davidson Khumbongmayum of the Blossom School Indoor Shooting Centre topped the junior men's (A-72) Open Sight 50 m rifle prone event with 420 points.
