SROY to host 3rd Singjamei AC MLA Trophy State Level Open Chess Tournament 2026

Imphal, August 20 2026: Service Recreation and Organisation of Youths (SROY) is set to host the 3rd edition of Singjamei AC MLA Trophy State Level Open Chess Tournament 2026 from September 11 to 13 at Singjamei Thongam Leikai.

The tournament to be organised under the aegis of the Manipur Chess Association is sponsored by Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand.

The tournament features three categories- U15, Open and 60+ and top three competitors will be feted with cash prizes.

Chess players intending to take part in the tournament may submit their entries till September 9, said SROY in a press release.

Further details can be had from the office of the SROY (8-10 am in morning 4-5 pm in evening) .
