3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy : KASC, RCA seal second straight victories

Imphal, April 19 2025: KASC, Khomidok and RCA, Lilong cruised to their second straight victories today in the ongoing 3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy.

KASC sealed their second Group B victory by handing YPHUC, Lalambung a 7-wicket defeat at Model Hr Secondary School playground.

KASC chose wisely to field first and bowled out YPHUC for 93 runs in 24 overs on the back of Md Rahis Khan's 6-wicket haul (6/39 in 7 overs) and Md Sakif Hussain's two wicket haul (2/12) before Md Ali Karim scored a 59-ball 63 and Md Abdulgani (18 off 28) led KASC to 93/3 within 16.3 overs.

Rahis Khan was adjudged player of the match.

Meanwhile, RCA pulled off a huge 95-run victory over PTCC, Patsoi Part III at Lairenjam Public Ground for the second Group D victory.

Put in to bat first, RCA slumped to 148 all out in 26.5 overs despite fighting knocks from Naesh Hussain (29), Heibokmayum Albash Hussain (24 off 21) and Md Anush (22 off 18) .

But the total proved too big to PTCC as they folded up at 53 in 20.3 overs in the face of exceptional bowling performances from Zamir Khan, who enjoyed a fifer (5/18), Zuned (2/10) and Naesh Hussain (2/17) .

Zamir Khan who set up the PTCC collapse was adjudged player of the match.

In a Group A match staged at Moijing Public Ground, TCMDC, Thongju Part II Pechu Lampak beat MPA, Thounaojam by 4 wickets despite Elangbam Lucky's 73 as Sagolsem Bolyson picked five wickets (5/45) .

Elsewhere at Khudeiband Lampak, AKSDO, Khangabok opened their Group C winning account by hammering RULE, Meitram by 231 runs thanks to a century knock from Bishorjit (126 off 114) and a concerted bowling effort led by N Sanayai (3/18), E Chingamba (3/17) and S Lanchenba (2/5) .

Meanwhile, SSC, Porompat kicked off their Group (E) campaign with an 8-wicket win over KCC, Kongba Bazar at Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground.
