MU Inter College Kabaddi Tournament : Lilong Haoreibi College, hosts Ng Mani College win men and women's titles

Imphal, September 18 2026: Lilong Haoreibi College and hosts Ng Mani College claimed the men and women's titles in the MU Inter College Kabaddi Tournament 2026-27 organised under the aegis of the Manipur University Sports Committee at Ng Mani College, Khurai Chaithabi.

In the final match of the 6-team men's tournament, Lilong Haoreibi College got the better of Biramangol College by 68-23 points to seal the top honours.

Meanwhile in the 3-team women's competition, Ng Manipur beat Pravabati College by 4-2 points in a low scoring final encounter to win the title.

.ARamasanker Sharma, Joint Director, Directorate of University and Higher Education; Dr W Jibankumar, Principal Ng Mani College and Dr Moirangthem Umakanta attended the prize distribution cum closing ceremony as dignitaries.
