3rd MNCA U-19 One Day Trophy : AMCA, REYS, FORCE, SU, Blue Hawk win in rain hit matches

Imphal, April 18 2025:
AMCA, Thoubal; REYS, Nagamapal; SU, Sagolband; FORCE, Kshetrigao; and Blue Hawk, Khurai emerge victorious in rain hit matches of the ongoing 3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy.
In a Group A match staged at Model Hr Sec and Oriental College ground, AMCA beat KSDO, Kyamgei by 50 runs courtesy of Hanif's all round performance.
Put in to bat first, AMCA posted 146/8 in an innings truncated to 30 overs due to rain and bundled out KSDO for 96 runs in 22.3 overs to seal the comfortable win today.

Hanif 36 and Moichingmayum Md Yakin 18 led the AMCA batting charge today in the first innings that saw Khutheibam Abu Sufiyan (3/21), Md Zuneid Shah (2/21) and Mujahir (2/41) of KSDO sharing 7 wickets.
In reply, KSDO faced a tough time in the face of bowling performances from Hanif (3/24), Md Yakin (3/9) and Maibam Anish (2/6) and eventually slumped to 96 all out in 22.3 overs.
Hanif was eventually named player of the match.
Elsewhere at Moijing Public Ground, REYS bundled out THAU, Thangmeiband for 41 runs within 14.1 overs as rain intervened and reduced the target to 63 runs in 25 overs via VJD/ other method after REYS had posted 72 runs for all wickets down in 15.3 overs.
Ringku Kangujam led the THAU demolition job by clinching 7 wickets in 5 overs and conceded just 15 runs with the assistance of Sapam Bikash who claimed two wickets for 12 runs.
Earlier, N Daniand (3/22) and Kh Bidyananda (3/22) of THAU shared 6 crucial wickets to bowl out REYS for 72/10 in 15.3 overs.
Ringku who was unstoppable with the ball was declared player of the match.
In a Group C match staged at Lairenjam Public Ground, Naeem scored 29 and picked 4 wickets to earn FORCE a 199 run victory against LCC, Lamsang.
FORCE piled up a massive total of 220/9 in 26 overs thanks to Zaheer 54 off 34, Naeem 29, Syed Fayaz 25 and Arif Khan 20 before rain intervened and the target was revised to 225 in 26 overs via VJD/ other method.
Chasing the big total, LCC slumped to 25 all out in 9.2 overs as Naeem (4/12) and Nasir Hussain (4/7) of FORCE ran riot.
Naeem was declared player of the match.
In a Group D match staged at Khudeiband Lampak, SU registered a 53-run victory against CYSA, Khangabok after rain forced them to revise the target at 200 in 29 overs.
Originally, SU who were put in to bat first gathered 192/8 in 29 overs thanks to leading knocks from RK Philan 63 off 63 and Keisham Anderson 30 off 39 .
Chasing the revised target, CYSA fell flat at 146 despite N Abungcha's 36 as K Anderson (2/23), S Romakanta (2/19), K David (2/17) and K Yaikhomba (2/27) of SU combined well to disrupt the chase.
K Anderson who produced an allround feat was named player of the match.
Elsewhere at Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground, Blue Hawk opened their Group E winning account by handing SCCC a 118-run defeat.
After choosing to bat first, Blue Hawk were 201/9 in 34 when rain interrupted the match and the target was revised to 195 runs in 34 overs via VJD/ other method.
Chasing the big total, SCCC were dismissed for 76 runs in 18.4 overs with Moirangthem Romesh (4/18), Nandakishor (2/3) and W Mukram (2/15) sharing 9 wickets among them.
Earlier in the first innings, Nitish topscored with 75 off 81 balls as Mukram remained unbeaten on 20 off 19 balls.
For SCCC, Waikhom Rex (2/33) and Elangbam Taibanganba (2/35) picked two wickets apiece before O Jimmy 22 off 31 and K Tomthinganba 13 off 17 emerged double digit scorers in the chase.
Nitish was adjudged player of the match.
