AMTA names State team for Sth National Cadet Taekwondo C'ships

Imphal, November 17 2025: The All Manipur Taekwondo Association (AMTA) has announced the State team for the 8th National Cadet Taekwondo Championship commencing on November 21 at PAP Indoor Stadium, Jalandhar, Punjab.

The players who have been selected to represent Manipur at the championships are as follows.

Poomsae: Hensana Nongthombam and Thounaojam Christina in individual events; Pukhrambam Nuvasco and Pragati Asem in pair event; Pukhrambam Nuvasko, Hensana, and Laishram Loya in men's group event; and Th Christina.

Bidyashree Sapam, and Thounaojam Roshila in the women's group event.

Kyorugi: Usham Arlex (U-37 kg), Soibam Biraj (U-41 kg), Kongjengbam Kangleinganba (U-45 kg), Laishram Mangalsana Singh (U-49 kg), Lukram Nawol Singh (U-53 kg), Travish Moirangthem (U-57 kg), Khumanthem Lanchenba (U-61 kg), Takhellambam Yaiphaba (U-65 kg), Yurembam Nongpoknganba (65+ kg), Khangembam Alina Devi (U-33 kg), Ashley Koijam (U-37 kg), Holina Asem (U-41 kg), Anjilika Irengbam (U-44 kg), Keisham Silvia (U-47 kg), Thingbaijam Tombisana (U-51 kg), and Abenao Takhellambam 59+ kg.

AMTA further named Leimram Joypriya as coach for both Kyorugi and Poomsae events alongside Naorem Ranjit as Kyorugi coach.
