IW 1st Division Football League : YWC-M hold BMSC to finish Group B runners up

Imphal, October 16 2024: YWC, Malom played out a goalless draw with BMSC, Taobungkhok in the last Group B league match in the 29th L Sangita Devi Memorial 1st Division Football League Tournament to finish group runners up.

With today's result, YWC-M amassed 4 points (off 3 matches) to finish second in the group table behind Juvenile, Tera who won all three matches to top the group and qualify for the promotion match (to Super Division tier) .

YWC-M will now play Group A's second placed team in the match that will decide 3rd and 4th places of the tournament.

PAMYAL, Patsoi in the meantime finished third on 3 points off a win in three matches and will play the third placed team from Group A for the 5th and 6th places of the tournament.

BMSC, who failed to register any win in the group stage, finished fourth on 1 point off a draw with YWC-M and will play Group A's fourth placed team in the relegation match (losers will be relegated to the Second Division tier) .
