Chandigarh, Bihar, Mizoram cruise at HI Sub Junior Women National Championship

Hockey Chandigarh, Hockey Bihar and Hockey Mizoram notched up emphatic wins in Monday's fixtures of the 12th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2022 at Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium here.
The day's first match saw Hockey Chandigarh hand out a 10-0 thrashing to Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu in their Pool F meeting.
Supriya (20', 43', 46'), Tamanna (29', 47', 57') and Captain Kamal-deep Kaur (37', 44', 51') each grabbed a hat-trick, and Navneet Kaur (58 ) added a goal to steer their team to a thumping victory.
In Pool G, Tripura Hockey were declared 5-0 winners after Hockey Himachal forfeited the match.
Hockey Bihar, meanwhile, scored 15 goals past Telangana Hockey in a Pool H encounter.
Rimjhim Kumari (14', 15', 20', 45', 45') led the rout with a five-goal salvo as Sharda Kumari (13', 60'), Khushi Kumari (18', 42'), Sidhi Kumari (25', 44'), captain Fensi Khatun 129', 32' ) and Kajal Kachhap (41', 43') contributed a double each in their emphatic triumph.
Hockey Mizoram wrapped up the day's fixtures with a 2-0 success against Hockey Karnataka.
Captain Lalrinpuii (21', 59') netted both goals of Mizoram.
Earlier on Sunday, Hockey Jharkhand strolled past Kerala Hockey 10-0 in their Pool B match.
Captain Balo Horo (23', 39', 54', 55', 59') struck in five goals, while both Nisha Minj (33', 43') and Binima Dhan (47', 57') scored twice, and Sweety Dungdung (4') chipped in with a goal.
