4th MNCA U-14 Boys Tournament : AMCA complete league stage sweep with 316-run victory against SDO

AMCA, Thoubal crushed SDO, Keirao Makting by 316 runs to complete Group A league stage sweep in the ongoing 4th MNCA U-14 Boys Tournament 2024-25 at PTRC ground, Patsoi Part IV .
The win lifted AMCA on top of the table and eventually they qualified for the last-16 stage of the tournament.
AMCA posted a massive total of 347 runs for 7 wickets after they elected to bat first as Khullakpam Fariyaz (122 off 65 balls; 14 fours and 5 sixes) and Md Sarif (102 off 64 balls; 7 fours and 8 sixes) took on SDO bowlers with ease to strike centuries before Sahid Khullakpam (4/2 in 5 overs) and Md Wajid Khan (4/3 in 3.1 overs) ran riot across SDO line up to dismantle them for just 31 runs within 11.1 overs.

For SDO, Mayangmayum Arshad (3/61) enjoyed a three wicket haul as three others picked a wicket apiece.
Only Epham Md Suhel Ahamed 10 managed double digit scores for SDO in the chase while 7 of his compatriots went out on ducks.
Khulakpam Fariyaz Khan was adjudged player of the match.
In a Group B match staged at Khudeiband Lampak, THAU, Thangmeiband sealed a 5-wicket win against TCMDC, Thongju Part II for the third win in five matches.
TCMDC, after opting to bat first, gathered 135 runs for 8 wickets but THAU cruised to winning 139 in 22.1 overs with 5 wickets left to spare as Konthoujam Tomthinganba anchored with an unbeaten 88 off 73 balls.
For TCMDC, Yumnam Tomthinnganba topscored with a 64-ball 51 as Rojesh Athokpam (2/17) and Laimayum Tejus Sharma (2/28) shared four wickets for THAU.
Sagolsem Bolyson (2/40), Nongshaba Sapam (1/31) and Dipachandra Sagolshem (1/27) were among the wickets for TCMDC in the second innings.
PTCC overwhelm WYC : Elsewhere at Kongba Dhobi Lampak, PTCC crushed WYC, Thoubal Wangkhem by 375 runs to end their Group C league campaign with three wins.
PTCC were toss winners and rode on a double century (212 not out off 113 balls; 26 fours and 9 sixes) and Ningombam Roberson's 66-ball 100 not out to pile up 385 runs for 1 wicket before dismissing WYC for 10 runs in 10.3 overs as Nungchengba Soraisam picked record 9 wickets for 3 runs in 5.3 overs that include 2 maidens.
Somobanta who hit double century was adjudged player of the match.
