Veteran cricket semifinals on January 18, 19

Imphal, January 15 2026: TCMDC will face REYS in the first semifinal match of the 22nd Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament on January 18.The second semifinal match on January 19 will see YCC take on YWC .

In the 4th quarterfinal match of the tournament today, YWC Langthabal beat SU-SVC Sagolband by 6 wickets to enter the semifinal, and set up a clash against YCC, At Langthabal playground, SU-SVC won the toss and elected to bat first to score 131 runs for 10 wickets in 29.4 overs.

In return, YWC scored 132 runs for 4 wickets in 20.5 overs to win the match.

Tejkumar of YWC was declared the man of the match for taking 18 runs and scalping 4 wickets.

For SU-SVC, only Chingkheinganba (44 runs off 53 balls), Pritam (23 runs off 38 balls) and Baleshwor (15 runs off 17 balls) could contribute double digit runs.

YWC's Tejkumar scalped 4 wickets, and his team-mate Sasi took 2 wickets.

Priyokumar, Rojeshkumar, Prakashmani and Samananda took one wicket each.

In YWC's successful chase for the target, Kumarjit knocked a massive 68 runs off 56 balls.

Tejkumar (18 runs off 28 balls), Sasi (16 runs off 6 balls), Prakashmani (13 runs off 19 balls), Gojendro (4 runs off 12 balls), and Manaobi (1 run off 4 balls) contributed runs.

Pakpa, Pyarlal, Prameshor and Rahul took one YWC wicket each.
