Imphal, February 13 2025: YPHU, Lalambung and TCMDC, Thongju emerged victorious in today's matches of the ongoing 12th Manipur Veteran T-20 Cricket Tournament.

In a Group B match staged this afternoon at Langthabal Public Ground, TCMDC crushed ESU, Wangkhei by 55 runs.

Dhamen scored an unbeaten 50 off 26 balls and Gulshan added 32 runs off 34 balls to inspire TCMDC a total of 157 runs for 3 wickets as they were asked to bat first by ESU.

TCMDC then bowled out ESU for 102 runs in 19.2 overs as Khagemba (3/13), Sanjit (3/12) and Jiten (2/13) ran riot.

Earlier in the first innings, Premananda, Shantikumar and Vedeshor picked a wicket apiece for ESU before Robin 23 and Swami 24 led the scoring in a lost cause.

Earlier in the day, YPHUC extended their Group B winning run to two games by beating KCC, Kongba by 9 runs.

Put in to bat first, YPHU were bundled out for 79 runs in 16.1 overs but KCC ended up gathering 69 runs in the chase (19.3 overs) .

Thenthen 22 was the top scorer for YPHU as Devan (3/25), Bony (2/7) and Sanjit (2/13) led the KCC bowling attack while Tomba and Sanjit scored identical 14 highest runs for KCC as Jinta (3/7) and Gyanranjan (3/11) wreaked havoc to share 6 wickets for YPHU .
