SFC unveil team uniform ahead of 18th Manipur State League

Imphal, November 12 2025: Gearing up for the ensuing 18th Manipur State League, the Sainik Old Boys Football Club (SFC) today officially unveiled the team uniform in a simple function held at Babupara.

The function was attended by Ng Bhogendro, president SFC and Director of Education (S) Department; Asem Tomba, manager of SFC; K Devdutta Sharma, Director of State Horticulture Department; Peter Salam, Director of Agriculture Department; head coach Raman Leishangthem; assistant coach Yendrembam Biondi; physio Khoirom Lucyson among others.

Speaking at the occasion, the speakers highlighted the significance of football as a sport that not only promotes physical fitness but also strengthens the bond of brotherhood and camaraderie among the old boys of Sainik School Imphal.

They emphasized that SFC serve as a bridge connecting old boys across generations, fostering a shared sense of pride and teamwork both on and off the field.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment from the players and supporters to give their best performance in the upcoming league and to continue upholding the spirit of discipline, sportsmanship, and unity that defines the Sainik School fraternity.

It may be mentioned that a total of 24 teams will be participating in the upcoming league tournament commencing from November 14 under the aegis of the All Manipur Football Association.

Notably, SFC finished runners up of the Imphal West Super Division Football League last season.
