7 from State find place in NE Zonal team for Duleep Trophy

Imphal, August 12 2025: Six players from Manipur including 2 standby and one support staff have been named in the North East Zonal team for the Duleep Trophy 2025-26 that will kickstart the domestic season.

The players who made it to the team, as per a press release issued by the Manipur Cricket Association (MNCA), include Pheiroijam Jotin, Yumnam Kamajit, Lamabam Ajay and Konthoujam Bishworjit.

Meanwhile, State's Rajkumar Rex and Pukhrambam Prafullomani were placed among the standby list, it said.

Ngangbam Maheshkumar will be among the support staff as masseur, it said.

MNCA further expressed pride over the selection of the players in the 15-member squad and in the reserved (standby) list of the zonal team and extended best wishes for a successful and memorable tournament.
