13th Mr Bishnupur District Bodybuilding Contest : L Dinesh clinches Mr Bishnupur title, Birjit wins junior title

Imphal, August 12 2022: L Dinesh of AMBBA was crowned the Mr Bishnupur title as Karam Birjit of Bishnupur United Gym won the junior title in the 13th Mr Bishnupur District Bodybuilding Contest 2022 organised by Bishnupur District Body Builders Association at IN A Conference Hall, Moirang today.

In all, 36 athletes from 11 different gyms and fitness centres took part in the men's bodybuilding competitions for Junior, Senior, Master and Physically Challenged categories; men's Fitness Physique categories and women's bodybuilding and Model Physique contests.

In the junior men's bodybuilding contest which was participated by 9 athletes, K Birjit finished on top followed by Nongmaithem Veloson Singh of AMBBA, Tongbram Darwin of Shajen Shang-Moirang, Laishram Jigar of Iron Addict Fitness Gym-Ningthoukhong and Konthoujam Sibaraj of AMBBA in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th places.

L Dinesh in the meantime won the senior bodybuilding contest as Leichombam Nongleikhomba of Cleopatra Fitness Centre-Nambol and Khagembam Bikash Singh of Bishnu Gym sealed the second and third spots respectively.

Finishing fourth and fifth in the competition were Moirangthem Naoboy of Nambol Fitness Centre and Chongtham Bijando of Shajen Shang.

Meanwhile, Ahanthem Nanao of Bishnu Gym bagged the Physically Challenged category title as Laishram Seitam finished second.

Wahengbam Netachandra on the other hand claimed the Master category title.

In the men's Fitness Physique competition.

Wahengbam Thanil of Bishnupur United Gym-Bishnupur bagged the top honour as Tongbram Surjit of Shajen Shang and Wahengbam Amarjit Singh of ELSA Gym, Fitness Centre-Naransena finished second and third respectively.

Sagolshem Shanju Singh of Iron Addict Fitness Gym and Thingom Omeshkanta of Cleopatra Fitness Centre finished 4th and 5th in the same competition.

Khaidem Bembem Devi of Iron Addict Fitness Gym and Laishram Meenakumari of Cleopatra Fitness Centre were crowned women's Bodybuilding and Model Physique competition titles today.
