SWC clinch Kakching Super Division Football League title

Imphal, July 12 2024: SWC (Waikhong) recorded their seventh straight victory with a 1-0 triumph over SAO (Kakching) to win the 21st Ksh Leihao Devi Memorial Super Division Football League 2024 at DSA Kakching playfield on Friday.

In the closing match of the league, H Tombi turned out to be the hero as his goal in the 79th minute helped SWC clinch the match and the Kakching Super Division Football League 2024 title.

SWC had a remarkable campaign over course of the league, winning all their seven games to finish atop the point table with 21 points.

YWU (Kakching) secured second spot after ending their campaign with 18 points as SWC (Keirak) completed the top three with 12 points.

SAO, who were level on points with SWC, finished fourth on goal difference, followed by KMSWC (9 pts), LMLCC (6), LYA (6) and UBSA (0) .
