Imphal, August 07 2025: The 13th Imphal West District Shooting Competition 2025 concluded on Wednesday at the Khuman Lampak Shooting Range after eight days of intense competition (July 30 - August 6) .

Local marksmen and women from across the district delivered outstanding performances.

The competition belonged to Pukhrambam Bidyalaxmi, who achieved a record triple gold sweep in women's air rifle events.

She topped the women's, junior women's and sub-youth women's 10m peep sight air rifle categories with identical scores of 389/400.Equally impressive was Vedaant Nongthombam, who mirrored this achievement in men's events.

The young shooter claimed gold in junior men's, youth men's and subyouth men's 10m air rifle with consistent scores of 371/400 across all three categories.

In pistol, Jupiter Ashem emerged as the standout performer with double gold in 25m standard pistol and 25m sports pistol junior men's events (275/300 in both) .

Meanwhile, Mineevia Labuktongbam successfully defended her women's 10m air pistol (356/400) and 25m sport pistol (266/300) titles.

Veteran shooter Ashem Kennedy added two more golds to his distinguished career in the 50m free pistol and master men's 25m standard pistol events.
