Bishnupur, April 07 2026:
NIS Coach M Rameshchandra has appealed for an early resolution to the factional dispute within Manipur's Wushu apex body and effective implementation of the State's Sports Policy to benefit athletes.
Rameshchandra, an international Wushu medallist and coach at Wushu Training Academy, Nachou, made the appeal during a felicitation programme for Nongmathem Pamheiba, who won gold at the World Junior Wushu Championship in Tianjin, China.

Pamheiba, a product of the Wushu Training Academy, credited coach Rameshchandra for his success and sought his blessings for future achievements.
Rameshchandra praised Pamheiba's determination and hard work, and took pride in the academy's other athletes who have shone at National and international events.
Noting the financial and preparatory hardships faced by young athletes, Rameshchandra urged stakeholders to resolve differences within the State's Wushu apex body to boost the sport's momentum.
The felicitation programme was jointly organised by the academy and All Nachou United Club Organisation.
