Imphal, August 05 2026: Mandengbam Jadumani who bagged a silver medal at the recently concluded Glasgow Commonwealth Games Boxing was accorded a warm felicitation by the Eroishemba Youth Development Club (EYDC), Imphal West at its ground.

The felicitation programme was attended by Khwairakpam Raghumani, MLA, Uripok AC; Laishram Sarita, SP (Sports); Tourangbam Kunjabihari, president MABA; Manigun, advisor to EYDC as presidium members who led in encouraging the promising boxer of the State.

Elated Jadumani expressed gratitude to all for their encouragement and support and pledged to give a strong performance at the upcoming Asian Games.

Speaking at the event, boxing icon Laishram Sarita said that the experienced and senior boxers have a strong role to play in guiding and grooming young boxers.

She also stressed on the need for the presence of State representatives in the high level committees and associations to curb the difficulties faced by the State athletes.
