Mathoibi, Luhenbi bag 4 medals at Batumi Open International Wushu Tournament

Imphal, August 05 2025: In a proud moment, Manipur's Maibam Luhenbi and Nameirakpam Mathoibi clinched4 medals including 3 gold at the prestigious Batumi Open International Wushu Tournament being underway in Georgia from August 1 .

Nameirakpam Mathoibi bagged two gold medals at the said tournament securing pole position in both the Taijiquan and Taijijian competitions.

Mathoibi is the daughter of Nameirakpam Bijen and S Rita Devi of Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal.

Maibam Luhenbi in the meantime clinched a gold medal in the Long Weapon event and bagged a silver medal in the Nanquan event.

Luhenbi is the daughter of Maibam Manoranjan and Laitonjam Hemamanjuri Chanu.

She also hails from Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal.
