AAM announces squad for East Zone Junior Athletics C'ship

Imphal, September 04 2025: Athletics Association of Manipur (AAM) has announced the names ofthe athletes selected to represent Manipur at the East Zone Junior Athletics Championship 2025 scheduled to be held from September 22 to 24 in Ranchi, Jharkhand.

The athletes who were shortlisted for the zonal championship are as follows.

U-18 (boys): Sorokhaibam Jenish and Thokchom Panan for 5000 m race walk; N Telheiba and Sobit for 100 m race; K Devash and M Abdul Kalam for 400 m race;
U-20 (boys) : Tamijuddin for 5000 m race walk; Sarungbam Joyhenba for shot put; Rahul and Ravi for 100 m race; K Devash and Kh Wahid for 200 m race;
U-16 (boys) : M Mithoingamba and Tom Cruise for pentathlon; Ch Yaiphaba and Y Punshiba for 600 m race; Sakil, Umril, P Jenash for 60 m race;
U-14 Girls : Nivia and L Lanthona for Triathlon C and P Curie for Triathlon B;
U-20 Girl : Thangjam Nigeta for 5000 m race walk.

The selected players should report to the office of the Athletics Association of Manipur at Mapal Kangjeibung along with the UID number registered with the Athletics Federationof India and Aadhaar card by 8 pm tomorrow (September 5) .
