Imphal, November 30 2024: The Manipur Amateur Boxing Association (MABA) is set to conduct State team trial on December 15 at Khuman Lampak Boxing Arena for the forthcoming 8th Elite Men National Boxing Championship due to be held from January 6 to 14 at Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.

Boxers bom between January 1, 1984 and December 31, 2005 are eligible to take part in the trial, said MABA in a statement.

The weight categories for the trials to be conducted include 47-50, 50-55, 55-60, 60-65, 65-70, 70-75, 75-80, 80-85, 85-90 and +90 kg, it said.

The weigh-in for the candidates attending the trial will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on December 14, it said.

Boxers who are serving in SRPB, AIPSB, SSCB, SPSC are required to submit NOC from their respective unit or department at the time of weigh-in, it said while also adding MABA registration ID is mandatory.

All boxers must have their original birth certificate, Aadhaar Card, College or Institute leaving certificate and carry latest Hepatitis B,C and HIV test certificates, Manipur Amateur Boxing Association added.
