Imphal, July 31 2025: Assam Rifles organised a friendly volleyball match with the young residents of Irengbam village, Bishnupur district.

According to a PRO IGAR (S) press release, the match drew 15 local players, Assam Rifles organised a friendly volleyball match with the young residents of Irengbam village, Bishnupur district.

The event showcased a lively display of athleticism and camaraderie, underlining the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, talent and sportsmanship - hallmarks of Assam Rifles' mission to empower the youth.

Events of this nature, the release noted, play a vital role in fostering mutual trust and cooperation between security personnel and the civilian population.
