Imphal, September 27 2015: AFC, Athokpam clinched the DFA Thoubal First Division Football League title today by topping the league table with 15 points.

LFC, Lilong at 12 points bagged the runner's up title.

In today's last league match played at DFA, Thoubal football ground, a lone strike from Roger in the 2nd minute helped AFC, Athokpam clinch a narrow win over RPU, Papal.

Deman of RPU was booked with a yellow card during the match.

The closing ceremony of the football league was attended by IPR Parliamentary Secretary K Meghachandra, DFA, Thoubal president L Chandrakishor and Charangpat GP pradhan L Amit as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
