Imphal, March 26 2026: YWC Langthabal and YPHU(N) Lalambung will lock horns in the final of the 13th T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2026.In the semifinals at Langthabal Public Ground, Imphal West today, YWC Langthabal beat TCMDC Thongju by 2 runs, and YPHU Nongin beat YPHU Warrior by 65 runs to enter the final.

The first semifinal match saw TCMDC Thongju winning the toss and electing to bowl first.

Facing the ball first, YWC could score only 81 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs, but their impressive fielding arrested TCMDC's run at 79 scalping 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Sasi (22 runs off 27 balls), Priyokumar (16 runs off 18 balls), Manaobi (16 runs off 24 balls), Dinachandra (5 runs off 6 balls), Gojendro (5 runs off 12 balls), Rojeshkumar (4 runs off 5 balls), Prakashmani (4 runs off 7 balls), Ashokumar (4 runs off 10 balls) and Kumarjit (1 run off 8 balls) contributed runs for YWC to reach 8 1.TCMDC's Jiten and Krishna took 3 wickets each, and Sanjit scalped 2 wickets.

In TCMDC's failed chase, Gulshannada (22 runs off 40 balls), Brajakumar (14 runs off 8 balls), Jiten (12 runs off 14 balls), Krishna (10 runs off 6 balls), Somorjit (5 runs off 9 balls), Tarun (5 runs off 15 balls), Sanjit (3 runs off 6 balls), Anand (2 runs off 6 balls), Bijesh (2 runs off 10 balls) and Rakesh (1 run off 6 balls) contributed runs.

YWC's Samananda took 3 wickets.

Dinachandra and Tejkumar took 3 wickets, and Prakashmani scalped one wicket.

The second semifinal match saw YPHU(W) winning the toss and opting to bowl first.

With Shantikumar knocking a massive 65 runs off 41 balls, YPHU(N) scored 196 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs.

Robin (35 runs off 33 balls), Jinta (27 runs off 18 balls), Dhaneshor (22 runs off 10 balls), Thenthen (20 runs off 14 balls) and Boiton (8 runs off 5 balls) contributed runs.

Dularva, Heromen, Boicha and Maison took one wicket each for YPHU(W).

In their failed chase, YPHU(W) could score only 111 runs for 10 wickets in 19 overs.

Josan (17 runs off 28 balls), Ponil (17 runs off 19 balls), Romeo (16 runs off 19 balls), Bikram (12 runs off 7 balls), Boicha (10 runs off 7 balls), Laingam (9 runs off 9 balls), Kumarkanta (3 runs off 6 balls), Dularva (3 runs off 4 balls), Hemanta (2 runs off 3 balls), Heromen (1 run off 4 balls) and Maison (1 run off 9 balls) contributed runs.

Jinta scalped 4 wickets for YPHU(N).
