36th State Level Mini Boys and Girls Handball Tournament 2025 underway

Imphal, February 26 2025: The 36th State Level Mini Boys and Girls Handball Tournament 2025 kicked off today at CYLC ground, Singjamei Chingamathak under the supervision of Manipur Handball Association.

As many as 11 boys and 8 girls' teams are participating in the league cum knock-out tournament.

In the boys' opening match (Pool A), CYDOL, Lilong Chajing sealed a 23-9 win over SROY, Singjamei thanks to M Hiramani's leading performance (11 goals) .

Y Indrajit (8), Kh Lanchenba (2) and I Hemanta (2) also contributed 12 goals to set up the huge win as Sunderraj (4), S Arbin (3) and Y Leikhajit (2) found the target for SROY.

In another Pool A match staged later in the day, OYO, Kongpal beat KKLYDO, Kongpal riding on Ksh Yaithoiba who added 8 goals alone.

Ksh Gitchandra (2), S Lanchenba (1) and T Malemnganba (1) were also on target for OYO as Ch Ajitkumar (3), N Punaraj (2) and M Leisemba (1) .

In the boys' Pool B opener, SSC, Khurai rode on N Zidane (9) and N Robinson (6) to seal a 15-11 win over IMC, Thoubal.

Y Rishikanta (6), L George (3) and L Ricky (2) were on target for IMC.

In the girls' opener (Pool A), M Shilpa (6) and H Sumitra (2) scored to give SROY a 8-4 win over MRC, Lilong.

In the girls' Pool B opener, YLK, Chingarel Tejpur beat IMC 10-0 as N Selena netted 5 goals alone and Th Merina and N Sophiya scored 2 goals apiece and Kh Sweety added one.
