State Sepak Takraw c'ship concludes

Imphal, October 25 2012: The 13th Mini, 15th Sub-Junior and Junior Boys' and Girls' State Sepak Takraw Championships, 2012 organised by the All Manipur Sepak Takraw Association in association with Citizens' Club, Soibam Leikai concluded today at the ground of the club.

Agriculture and Fisheries Minister Md Abdul Nasir and President of All Manipur Sepak Takraw Association, Kh Dorendro graced the closing function as Chief Guest and President respectively.

Director, Department of Setlement, W Rajen and Ex President of Citizens' Club, Imphal G Badal also attended as Guests of Honour.

In the final match of Junior Boys' Regu Event, SAI RC-A beat SWC by sets 3-1 and won the champion's title.

The scroes were 15-12, 9-15, 15-8 & 15-6 .

Earlier, SAI RC-A entered final after defeating ALSA by sets 3-0 in the first semi final and SWC entered the final after winning the second semi final match by sets 3-0 against SAI RC-B .

SAI RC-B won the third place after defeating ALSA by sets 3-0 .

The scores were 15-12, 15-10 & 15-9 .

The winners' title for Junior Girls was also won by SAI RC after they beat LKYDA by sets 3-0 in the final match.

The scores were 15-13, 15-9 & 15-12 .

In the final match of Sub Junior Girls' Regu Event, SWC-A beat SAI RC-B by sets 3-0 and won the first place.

The scores were 15-13, 15-11 & 15-8.SWC-A entered final after defeating UDO by sets 3-0 while SAI RC-B entered final after defeating SAI RC-A by sets 3-1 in the semi final matches.

SAI RC-A won the third place after defeating UDO by sets 3-0.The scores were 15-9, 15-8 & 15-3 .

The first place of Mini Boys' Regu Event was won by PUC after defeating YRSC by sets 2-0 in the final match.

The scores were 15-13 & 15-13.Earlier today, PUC entered final after defeating SWC by sets 2-1 and YRSC entered final after defeating HUDIC by sets 2-0 in the semi finals.

In Mini Girls' Regu Event, SAI RC won all the two matches in the league and won the first place while SWC who won one match and lost the another was placed in the second place.

Yesterday, SAI RC-A beat SWC-A by sets 3-1 in the final match of the Sub Junior Boys' Regu Event to win the first place.

The scores were 15-11, 15-12 & 10-15.YUVA won the third place after defeating PUC by sets 3-0.The scores were 15-8, 17-16 & 15-7 .
