NSA reign supreme in ASMITA Junior Taekwondo League

Imphal, April 25 2026: National Sports Academy (NSA) emerged on top in the ASMITA Junior Taekwondo League held at Khuman Lampak on April 21 with a haul of 4 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

Taekwondo Training School (TTS), Nambol meanwhile secured 2 gold medals in the competition to finish team runners up as Imphal Modem Taekwondo Academy (IMRTA) sealed 1 gold and 3 silver medals to finish second runners up.

A Lanchenbi (-55 kg), Malemnganbi K (-59 kg), Neha Das (-44 kg) and K Sonia (-46 kg) bagged gold medals for NSA as Alina Kh (-42 kg) settled for a silver medal and Th Dolly (-49 kg) bagged a bronze medal.

Meanwhile, S Velena (-49 kg) and K Sinthoi (-68 kg) secured two gold medals for TTS .

Thoisana Th, on the other hand, beat Tarika Okram in an all IMRTA final clash to share the 1-2 podium finish in the -52 kg category competition as Samita L (-55 kg) and Delfina RK (-59 kg) settled for a silver medal apiece.

TTA's E Money (-42 kg), UTA's M Sanathoi (-68 kg) and HTA's W Deepali (+68 kg) also produced dominating performances to secure gold medals in their respective weight categories.
