MU Inter College Kabaddi Tournaments : Lilong Haoreibi College, Mayai Lambi College crowned men and women's champions

Imphal, September 23 2025: Lilong Haoreibi College and Mayai Lambi College emerged men and women's champions in the MU Inter College Kabaddi Tournaments hosted by Liberal College, Luwangsangbam.

Lilong Haoreibi College defeated Mayai Lambi College 43-39 to seal the men's title as Mayai Lambi College defeated Lilong Haoreibi College 25-17 for the women's crown.

Earlier in the men's semifinal matches, Mayai Lambi College defeated Kumbi College 59-22 before Lilong Haoreibi College defeated Liberal College 43-24 .

In the women's semi-final match, Lilong Haoreibi College defeated Pole Star College 34-21 as Mayai Lambi College outlasted SK Women's College 42-32 .

As many as 8 men's teams and 6 women's teams participated in the tournament.
