Imphal, January 22 2025: MODEL Singjamei Chingamakha beat SCCC Singjamei Thongam Leikai by 2 wickets in today's league match of the 9th MNCA W Prahlada & W Ramananda Elite Tournament 2024-25 .

At Model Higher Secondary Ground in the morning, MODEL won the toss and opted to field first.

Facing the ball first, SCCC scored a total of 207 runs for 7 wickets in 40 overs.

In reply, MODEL scored 211 runs for 8 wickets in 39.1 overs to win the match.

Ulenyai Khwairakpam performed exceptionally facing the ball and knocked 71 runs off 93 balls for SCCC.

Laishram Ronson Singh contributed 37 runs off 43 balls.

Moirangthem Thomas Singh scored 33 runs off 26 balls, and Lishan Meitei Khaidem knocked 22 runs off 20 balls.

MODEL's Anand Naorem took 3 wickets.

Langlonyamba Singh M took 2 wickets.

Kisan Singh Wahengbam and Waikhom Priyokumar Singh took one wicket each.

In MODEL's turn batting, Anand Naorem remained undefeated knocking 73 runs off 56 balls.

Team-mates, Kisan Singh Wahengbam scored 37 runs off 54 balls and Maisnam Tejkumar Singh scored 24 runs off 41 balls.

SCCC's Moirangthem Thomas Singh took 3 wickets.

Rakeshwor Hidangmayum and Lishan Meitei Khaidem took 2 wickets each.

Khaidem Joyraj Meitei took one wicket.
