Imphal, June 20 2024: Moirangthem Max Chanu of Thoubal and Ngalangam Pheirei of Ukhrul emerged champions of the State Level Boxing in 46 Kg and 48 Kg category respectively.

In the Junior Girls' 46 Kg final, Moirangthem Max Chanu of Thoubal defeated Kiran Chingakham of Imphal West.

In the 48 Kg final, Ngalangam Pheirei of Ukhrul defeated Khaidem Manganthoi Chanu of Kakching.

In the 55 Kg final, Karung Albertson Kom of SPL (B) defeated Khaidem Lamnganba Singh of Kakching.

In the 58 Kg category final, Lanchenba Meetei of Imphal East defeated S Robertson Singh of Kakching.

In the 61 Kg final, Pheiroijam Bigson Meitei of Imphal East defeated Yengkhom Abinash Singh of Kakching.

In the 67+ category final, Leimapokpam Mahesh Singh of Kakching defeated Chandam L Singh of Imphal East.

The State Level Boxing Championship 2024 will conclude tomorrow at Khuman Lampak Boxing Arena.

Retired Deputy Director SAI and Dronacharya Awardee L Ibomcha Singh, Manipur Amateur Boxing Association president N Rimotkumar Meitei and former MABA president ng Tejkumar Singh will attend the closing ceremony.
