68th NSG Sepaktakraw : Manipur U-17 girls in semi-finals

Hosts Manipur's impressive run in the 68th National School Games Sepaktakraw continued with U-17 girls team securing the last four berth today at Khuman Lampak Indoor Hall.
Manipur U-17 girls reached the last-4 stage of the 15-team competition with an easy 15-3, 15-8 quarterfinal victory against Bihar this afternoon.
Manipur had topped Group A pre-quarterfinal league round securing two of two wins against Gujarat and Nagaland.
Manipur will play Andhra Pradesh, who outlasted Rajasthan 15-6, 15-11 in the final quarterfinal match this evening, in the semi-final clash.
In other quarterfinal matches, Assam beat Uttar Pradesh 15-9, 15-7 and Nagaland defeated Maharashtra 17-14, 15-6 .

U-17 Boys : Manipur to play Tamil Nadu in quarterfinals
Group A quarterfinal league winners Manipur will play Group C runners up Tamil Nadu tomorrow in the first quarterfinal match of the U-17 boys competition.
The match starts at 3 pm.
Group B winners Bihar will play Group D runners up Madhya Pradesh in the second quarterfinal match tomorrow before Group C winners Nagaland play Group A runners up Maharashtra in the third quarterfinal match and Group D winners play Group B runners up Uttar Pradesh in the last quarterfinal match.
Manipur had beaten Maharashtra 15-6, 15-7 and Rajasthan 15-6, 15-4 on Day 2 of the 15-team competition to finish Group A winners.
Tamil Nadu who suffered opening game loss to Nagaland finished group runners up with a hard fought 15-9, 10-15, 15-13 win against Assam today to make it to the quarterfinals.
Madhya Pradesh opened their winning account today beating Gujarat 15-7, 15-10 this morning before suffering a 14-17, 2-15 loss to Andhra Pradesh.
They however made a comeback in the third league match to beat CBSE 15-9, 15-8 to finish group runners up behind Andhra Pradesh.
Maharashtra meanwhile finished Group A runners up with a 15-10, 15-12 win over Rajasthan this afternoon and earned their place in the quarterfinals.
Uttar Pradesh meanwhile made it to the quarterfinals with a 15-9, 15-8 win over Telangana in the last Group B match this evening.
Nagaland meanwhile topped C pre-quarterfinal league round by defeating Assam 13-15, 17-15, 17-16 for the third straight win in a closely fought match.
Assam had beaten Punjab 15-12, 15-3 earlier in the day after going down to Tamil Nadu in the league stage opener.
U-19 Boys : Manipur vs Uttar Pradesh in quarterfinals
Group B winners Manipur will face off against Group D runners up Uttar Pradesh in the second quarterfinal match of the 16-team U-19 boys competition.
Manipur had topped Group B table with wins over Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan earlier while Uttar Pradesh had to finish Group D runners up with a 13-15, 7-15 loss to Kerala today and set up a quarterfinal date with the hosts.
Group A winners Bihar in the meantime will play Group C runners up Odisha in the first quarterfinal match tomorrow morning.
Odisha made it to the quarterfinals with a 15-6, 15-8 win over Gujarat in their last league stage match this morning.
Maharashtra meanwhile topped Group C table with a 15-8, 15-10 win over Telangana for the third win today after having beaten Gujarat and Odisha earlier.
They will play group A runners up Madhya Pradesh in the third quarterfinal match.
Madhya Pradesh finished Group A runners up with a 15-13, 15-6 win over Punjab today.
Group D winners Kerala in the meantime will play Tamil Nadu in the fourth quarterfinal match tomorrow.
Tamil Nadu who had beaten Rajasthan and went down to Manipur pulled off a hard fought 15-9, 9-15, 17-15 win today to make it to the last-8 stage.
The quarterfinal matches begin at 8 am at Court number 1 .
