28 selected for 1st Invitation National Cheibi C'ship

Imphal, August 17 2026: The All Manipur Cheibi Association (AMCA) has successfully selected 28 athletes who will represent Manipur in the 1st Invitation National Cheibi Championship to be hosted by the association in collaboration with Kangleipak Students’ Association from October 9 to 12 at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak.

As many as 175 athletes from 11 Thang-Ta institutes took part in the trial and 28 of them were selected during the trial selection held on August 16, said AMCA in a press release.
