71 Bn CRPF to organise District Level Men's Volleyball Tournament at Kwakta

Imphal, October 15 2026: The 71 Bn CRPF will host a District Level Men's Volleyball Tournament at Kwakta Municipal Ground, Bishnupur under the SPANDAN initiative of Khelo India from October 21 to 23 .

The three day event will provide a platform for talented players to showcase their skills and encourage greater participation in sports, said a press release issued by the 71 Bn CRPF .

The event offers a pool prize of Rs 75,000 including a cash prize of Rs 30,000 for the winners; 20,000 for the runners up ; Rs 10,000 for the second runners up and Rs 3,000 each for individual prize winners.

Inviting teams concerned to participate in the tournament, the 71 Bn CRPF also appealed to volleyball enthusiasts, local residents and sports lovers to attend the event and encourage the participating teams, and help make the tournament a grand success.

Meanwhile 66 Bn CRPF will be organising Martyr Vijay Pal Singh, Dy Comdt Memorial Football Tournament in Thoubal from October 17 to November 6 .

The tournament will be held for four different categories including Men's Open, Women's Open, U21 Men's and U18 Men's categories at two different venues.

Men's Open, Women's Open and U21 Men's football tournament will be hosted at Kodompokpi Sports Complex while the U18 Men's tournament will be held at Nongpok Sekmai.

The top three teams in all the segments will be feted with Rs 30,000; Rs, 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively while individual prize winners will be feted with Rs 3,000 each.
