65th IW Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament : Iboton Memorial Academy vs Little Master HSS in U-15 boys' final

Imphal, June 09 2026: Iboton Memorial Academy (IMA) will lock horns with Little Master Higher Secondary School in the title clash of the U-15 Boys' competition of the 65th Imphal West District Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament 2026 .

The tournament organised by Imphal West District Youth Affairs and Sports Office kicked off today at Langjing Achouba Artificial Turf Ground with 4 U-15 boys, 4 U-17 boys and 3 U-17 girls' school teams participating in it.

In the U-15 Boys' first semi-final match, IMA ran riot to blank Manipur Star Institute (MSI) 8-0 courtesy of goals coming from Bikram (5'), Veenison (15'), H Dellin (21'), H Yohenba (22'), Mangal (32'), Joyson (34'), and Manimatum (37', 39') .

Later in the second semi-final match, Little Master Higher Secondary School demolished CT Higher Secondary School by 9-0 goals as I Subaschandra scored thrice (10', 32', 35') and S Omesh netted twice (11', 38') .

P Dennison (16'), Th Boiton (36'), A Pari (53') and S Mahesh (60+1') also contributed a goal apiece to earn the huge win for Little Master Higher Secondary School.

The final is slated for June 11 (from 3.30 pm) .

In the 3-team U-17 Girls league round opener, CT Higher Secondary School thumped Langjing High School by 4-2 goals.

Agamna W (14', 59') scored twice while S Silky (22') and Ch Babylinthoi (26') scored a goal apiece in CT Higher Secondary School's victory as K Nandini (35+2', 39') scored both the goals for Langjing High School.

CT Higher Secondary School will play MSI in the second league match tomorrow.

The U-17 Boys' competition will commence tomorrow.
