Imphal, November 06 2008: Star United defeated Khaorei 4-3 via the tie-breaker to wrest the title of the 10th Kazipmi Memorial Trophy football tournament which concluded at the TNL ground, Ukhrul today.

The losing finalists nevertheless claimed the trophy for the highest number of goals scored in the tournament with Chinyek of Wino Sporting team bagging the best goalkeeper prize.

Lunghar team was adjudged the best discipline team of the tournament the closing ceremony of which held today was attended by ICHAM president N Rajendra as the chief guest.
