46th Junior Boys' State Volleyball Tournament 2026 kicks off today

Imphal, August 06 2026: The 46th Junior Boys' State Volleyball Tournament 2026 kicked off today at Kha Sanjenbam playground under the aegis of the All Manipur Volleyball Association.

11 teams clubbed into four groups are taking part in the tournament.

The opening match of the tournament saw DVA, Thoubal beat CYCC, Chandel 25-11, 25-14, 25-15 in a Group C match before DVA booked his quarterfinal ticket by beating EAGLE, Ukhrul 25-13, 25-18, 25-18 later in the day.

In the Group A opener, PVA, Pourabi beat YPC, Ishok 25-21, 20-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-13 before HVA, Heigrujam bounced back to beat PVA, Pourabi 24-26, 24-26, 25-19, 28-26, 15-4 in the second Group A match.

Meanwhile, PASI, Kamjong beat MRC, Mairenkhong 25-18, 25-15, 25-16 in the Group B opening match.
