Imphal, August 03: L Nandakumar overwhelmed H Kishan 21-19 21-9 to clinch the men's singles title of the 2nd Imphal West District Bad minton Championship which concluded today at Ibudhou Khamlangba Shanglen, Sagolband Moirang Leirak Machin.

The closing ceremony of the three day championship was held with Sports Minister N Biren Singh as the chief guest while MLAs L Nandakumar Singh and Bijoy Koijam graced the occasion as the president and guest of honour respectively.

Earlier matches of the championship were played at the MBA Indoor Stadium, DMC Campus.

In the men's doubles final, RK Chinir and H Kishan defeated L Nandakumar and L Momo duo 13-21, 22-20, 21-14 .
