Manipur Amateur Kho-Kho Association lines up 'Free Summer Coaching Programmes'

Imphal, May 03 2025: The Manipur Amateur Kho-Kho Association (MAKKA) has lined up a series of "20-Day Free Summer Coaching Programmes" across five districts under Grassroots Kho-Kho Development Programme with effective from May 15 .

Students between 10 years and 15 years may take part in the coaching programmes to be conducted across 11 venues in four districts- Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Kakching, and Bishnupur, in association with local clubs and district organisations, said MAKKA in a statement.

Last date of registration (form and fee : Rs 100 per student) is May 12, it said.

Notably, Imphal West District Kho-Kho Association will be hosting two camps at ALMYA ground, Awang Leikinthabi and at Yumnam Huidrom Hr Sec School ground while Imphal East District Kho-Kho Association will host camps at PYDC ground, Pourabi and SADA ground, Nongpok Sanjenbam.

Kakching District Kho-Kho Association will in the meantime host camps at SHGIRCS ground, Pangantabi and ADL English School Wabagai Lamkhai Bazar and Wabagai Hr Sec School ground and Bishnupur District Kho-Kho Association will host one camp at Kumbi Sandang Upper Primary School, Kumbi.

Thoubal District Kho-Kho Association in association with various clubs will organise camps at BASU ground, Khangabok; SENDYC ground, Salungpham; UDYC ground, Khangabok Lamlong and Lupamanjuri Girls High School and Heirok UPS ground, Heirok.
