Governor's Cup Cycling Championship : Kshetrimayum Jack cruises to Elite Men's Downhill gold

Imphal, November 01 2025: Kshetrimayum Jack raced to Elite Men's 700 m Downhill gold on the third day of the 4th State Level Governor's Cup Road, Track, and Mountain Bike Cycling Championship for youth boys and girls; subjunior boys and girls; junior boys and girls; and Elite men and Women.

In the event held at Awa Ching in Imphal East, Kshetrimayum Jack of Kakching recorded the best time of 00:01:01:628 (1 minute, 1 second and 628 milliseconds) as D Dangao of Senapati secured the silver medal with a time of 00:01:07:358 and Khumanthem Jenek of Imphal East settled for the bronze medal with a 00:01:14:714 finish.

In the Elite Women's 4.5 km XCO (Cross Country) Mass Start competition, Hamom Urbashi of Bishnupur grabbed the gold medal by finishing the course in 00:26:25:133 (26 minutes, 25 seconds and 133 milliseconds) as Pangambam Priya Devi earned the silver by taking 00:27:09:219 .

Khundrakpam Ronel of Bishnupur meanwhile claimed the Elite Men's 6 km XCO Mass Start gold with the best time of 00:26:06:170 .

Angom Yaiphaba of Imphal West took 00:28:34:219 to seal the silver medal in the same competition as D Dangao secured his second medal in the form of a bronze by posting a 00:28:42:786 finish.
