AMFA issues directive against unauthorised football tourneys

Imphal, May 07 2025: The All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has reiterated its stance against unauthorised football tournaments and leagues being organised across various parts of the state.

In a memorandum released on Wednesday, AMFA noted that several organisations and clubs have been conducting unauthorised competitions, prompting the need for immediate action.

As a preventive measure, AMFA has directed all district associations to remain vigilant within their respective jurisdictions.

District bodies have been instructed to monitor any such illegal activities and submit prompt reports, complete with video or photographic evidence, to the AMFA office.
