Applications open for athlete induction at SAI STC, Utlou

Imphal, January 25 2025: The Sports Training Centre (STC), Utlou, a unit of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) under the North East Regional Centre, Imphal, is set to induct athletes based on merit.

The centre will admit 8 boxers (ages 12-18), 5 taekwondo athletes (ages 12-18), and 11 weightlifters (ages 12-18) .

Interested candidates may collect the prescribed application forms from the office of the centre in-charge, SAI STC, Utlou, between January 27 and February 7, 2025 .

The deadline for submission of completed application forms is February 7, 2025 .

Selection trials for eligible applicants will take place on February 10 and 11, 2025, at SAI STC, Utlou, starting at 6:30 am.

Applicants are required to attach the following documents with their application forms: Aadhar card, school reading certificate, age proof (birth certificate), sports achievement certificates (if any), and two recent passport-sized photographs, as stated in a circular released on Saturday by L Rinky Singh, centre in charge at SAI STC, Utlou.
